Tiana Flynn is a freelance communications professional and Communications Officer at Greater Rochester Health Foundation.
Tiana grew up in Denver and received her BA in English/Writing with a minor in Chinese Studies at the University of Colorado.
After working for more than a decade in television news as an Emmy Award-winning assignment editor and producer, she transitioned to a career in government with the City of Rochester, where she served as a writer, social media manager, TV producer and talk show host of the CityWise program. She is producer and host of a new show, "This is Rochester," on RCTV - Rochester's Community Media Center.
Tiana has been featured in the Democrat & Chronicle newspaper as a “Woman to Watch” for her work at the City as well as her community service project in partnership with late Air Force veteran Betty Perkins Carpenter on the “Snapshots from the Korean War” photo project, which aims to connect veterans or their family members with a special collection of wartime photos.
Tiana is actively involved in the community in the areas of education, art, social justice, and public health.
